Toughen Up – Exodus 5:22-23

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Exodus 5:22-23
Moses returned to YHWH and said, “O Lord, why have you brought trouble upon this people? Is this why you sent me? 23 Ever since I went to Pharaoh to speak in your name, he has brought trouble upon this people, and you have not rescued your people at all.”

Moses does everything he is told to do. The only problem is that nothing has worked out as he was told. Not yet anyway. I’m sure he had it all planned out in his head how everything was going to go down. As it was, up to this point, he was only the cause of false hopes and trouble.

Do we really think the enemy is just going to let us have a clean path to victory? Like trouble isn’t going to come? Can it happen that way. Oh, of course. However, how many times in the scriptures do we find victory without a fight? Have you ever thought that just maybe YHWH wants to toughen us up a little? Don’t give up. It’s not over till it’s over.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!
