“Us Four No More” No More – Mark 2:15-17

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Mark 2:15-17
While Jesus was having dinner at Levi’s house, many tax collectors and “sinners” were eating with him and his disciples, for there were many who followed him. When the teachers of the law who were Pharisees saw him eating with the “sinners” and tax collectors, they asked his disciples: “Why does he eat with tax collectors and ‘sinners’?” On hearing this, Jesus said to them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

It seems to me that Yeshua makes a pretty clear statement in these words in who we are to be reaching out to. So, who do you reach out to? Do you reach out at all?

Don’t get me wrong. There are definite moments when Yeshua spent time only with His disciples and other believers. Those are times of encouragement and straightening for sure. But we can’t make that all we ever do. We can’t forget we have a mission to be a light to the nations. Let the hand of YHWH reach out through you.
