Victory – Proverbs 21:31

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Proverbs 21:31
The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but victory rests with YHWH.

So we can make all our preparations for battle, as we should, but victory only comes through Him. We can plan everything out. We can make every thing perfect. Yet, if He is not on our side of the battle, what’s the use?

I’m reminded of he children of Israel after they rebelled and would not enter the promise land because of the negative report from 10 of the spies. After they realized they had done wrong, they tried to go into battle anyway. The problem was, it was too late. Moses even told them not to go because YHWH wasn’t with them.

Numbers 14:44-45
Nevertheless, in their presumption they went up toward the high hill country, though neither Moses nor the ark of YHWH’s covenant moved from the camp. Then the Amalekites and Canaanites who lived in that hill country came down and attacked them and beat them down all the way to Hormah.

So the bottom line is, when making your plans, make sure they’re in Him.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout today. Until next time, Shalom.
