Waiting – Luke 2:8-12

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Luke 2:8-12
And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”

A baby. Obviously the baby wasn’t going to bring salvation as a baby. The baby had to grow up. SO what did that mean? That meant everyone had to wait. Well, at least until that baby grew up.

Waiting. A topic not many of us are very good at. At least not in this day and age. However, sometimes the Father sends an answer to a prayer and we have to wait on the right timing.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!
