When Will We Learn? – Ecclesiastes 1:9

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Ecclesiastes 1:9
What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun.

I remember when growing up how I really didn’t like studying history. But now, it seems as if I can’t get enough of it now. Especially when it comes to Biblical history. The thing is this, there really is an element of truth to the phrase, “History repeats.”

Take any element of the scriptures in the history of YHWH’s people and you will see how it repeats over and over. Even big events will eventually be repeated again. Like that of the earth shaking as it did in the days Noah.

We need to do our best in studying the scriptures so we don’t make the same mistakes the children of Israel did. We need to make sure we don’t end up on the wrong side of history like so many others.

May we read and learn. Yet, more than anything, may we hear and obey what the Father gives us to do everyday.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, Shalom.
