Your Prayer – Philippians 1:9-10
Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.
And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, 10 so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ…
Paul is sharing what his prayer was for those he ministered to in Philippi. It was knowledge and depth of insight that he longed to be in them. Resulting in discernment and purity in their lives.
I confess that I woke up this morning just staring at the ceiling. With having the responsibility of being looked at as a teacher, there was only one prayer that kept coming out of my mouth as I laid there. “Help me help your people.” That has truly been the cry of my heart.
We all have a task the Father has called us to. Yet, regardless of what that task is, we should always do our best to be there for others. It’s in this that I ask you, “What is the cry of your heart?” What is your prayer for others?
Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!
